Welcome

Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog. My name is Judy and I finally was able to fulfill my childhood dream of owning a horse. In 2016 I purchased a beautiful, older quarter horse that I named Alfie – after my father. It has been an amazing journey so far. I have learned so much about horses, their care, and of course how to ride. I started diary posts on my Facebook page about a year ago and my “fans” requested I make it the posts official by starting a blog. I write about the good, the fails, the cries, the reality of being an equestrian, you know, the stuff most people won’t ever admit to the public. I will never claim to know everything about horses, or more specifically, my Alfie, but I do hope that you learn a little something while you are here about these truly magical creatures.
